"From All Walks of Life"
David Spillane is going to walk 203 miles from Yankee Stadium to Fenway Park to raise funds for the Elizabeth Stone House.
An attorney and father of three from Quincy, MA is "walking the walk" for survivors of domestic violence - literally. David Spillane is a very big baseball fan and a huge supporter of the work done by the Elizabeth Stone House on behalf of survivors of domestic violence. He decided to combine his love for baseball with his desire to raise awareness and funds for the mission of the Elizabeth Stone House in an epic walk starting September 18, 2018 at Yankee Stadium and concluding September 29, 2018 at Fenway Park
A walking enthusiast, David has participated in many charity walks over the years and successfully raised $50,000 last year for the Elizabeth Stone House with a walk from Stockbridge to Boston following the path made famous by James Taylor's classic song "Sweet Baby James". This year, he is an MVP for the Elizabeth Stone House bringing together baseball fans and other friends from across New England to help in the mission to support survivors of domestic violence.
The Elizabeth Stone House partners with adult and child survivors of domestic violence and related trauma - mental illness, housing instability and substance misuse - to achieve safety, stability, and overall well being, thereby contributing to the strength, resiliency, and health of the community we serve.
David has set a goal for "From All Walks of Life"
